I see members of other clubs logging into a website called howdidido.com. This looks a great way of checking results. as you can see results, handicap amendments etc. I don't know if this would be something the longhirst handicap comittee would be interested in, but would be useful for those members who can't get to the clubhouse as often.
I will certianly look into the how did I do alert. I am however setting up the new EGU centralised handicapping system, from which similar checks can be made club by club.
With regard to the results and draws. This needs tightened up I know. At the moment I do the web updates from home as and when required. I am getting the software installed in the office so more regular updates can be made.
