The yardage markers at Longhirst are an excellent help and more courses would benefit from them , however...
I think we could do with more info on pin locations as on some greens it can be 40 yards from front to back.
I have played several courses who attach smaller green, yellow or red flags to the flag poles to signify front , mid or back pin positions . (or a card on the tee saying todays pin position is...)
tis would help my game as often i hit a beauty to mid green only to find i've over/under clubbed due to pins at the front or back of greens

Yea I agree, especially on the Dawson where some of the greens are huge. We had them last year or the year before but not sure what happened to them. Would definately be of benefit this weekend with the club championship being held on the lakes course
